The project was handed over to me with specific requirements. The client wanted to increase their online visibility, improve organic traffic, strategically target their audience and essentially, increase bookings via the restaurant’s website. The client expected a responsive website that resonated well with their brand image, serving both gastronomes and casual diners.

Not compromising the client’s expectations, I kept their goals at the forefront during the website development process. The process began with crafting a unique brand story with compelling content and high-quality images of their sumptuous dishes, creating an intuitive and responsive design that ensured the site was accessible across devices. I focused on ensuring the website was easy-to-navigate, designed intuitively to make the user experience seamless and conversion-focused.

I ensured the online menu was clearly categorized and easy to read, accompanied by stunning photographs. High-quality and SEO-friendly content was created to accurately describe each dish and its ingredients.

An easily accessible online reservation system was integrated on multiple pages to increase bookings and customer convenience. This functionality was optimized to be mobile friendly – allowing customers to make a reservation on the go.

Via keyword research tools, I found out the most relevant and high-volume keywords and phrases associated with the client’s restaurant and incorporated them into the website content. Title tags, meta descriptions, and URLs were structured with these keywords.

I worked on the website’s blog section to serve a dual purpose – to entertain and inform the visitor and to serve as a platform for keyword placement. The blogs varied in content – from new menu launches, special offers, blog posts on food lifestyle, to chef interviews.

I focused on Local SEO to ensure the restaurant showed up in local search results. This included creating a Google My Business page, and local directory listings.

Upon the launch of the SEO-optimized website, there was a significant surge in organic traffic and increased online visibility. The website now ranks in the top search results for relevant keywords and there’s been a steady increase in online bookings.
